Andy Wyatt Tucker, age 66 of Clemmons passed away August 12, 2021 at his home after a brief illness.
Mr. Tucker was born in Davidson County, NC on October 26, 1954 to John Elwood Tucker Sr and Gladys Tysinger Tucker.
Andy was employed with A1 Sandrock and worked as a heavy equipment operator. He attended the Davidson County School System. He was a member of Maple Grove Church of the Brethren.
Andy had a passion for hunting, deep sea fishing and antique cars. He was known as a “jack of all trades.” There was nothing that he wouldn’t attempt to build or fix. He was a truly humble man, who loved his family dearly.
Andy was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Catherine Tucker, whom he loved dearly and was deeply devoted to for over 45 years; and one brother John Tucker Jr.
He is survived by his son, Jeffery Tucker (Amy) of Clemmons; two sisters, Kay Miller (Larry) of Silver Valley and Pat Zimmerman of Reddy Creek; and two grand puppies, Jack and Lucy.
There will be a graveside service on Monday, August 16, 2021 at 11:00am at Maple Grove Church of the Brethren Cemetery, with Rev, Grady Blackburn officiating.
