Amanda Jane Cecil

Amanda (Amy) Jane Cecil passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at Accordius Healthcare of Lexington.

Ms. Cecil was born in Davidson County, NC on May 1, 1949, to Terry and Edna Cecil.

She attended Davidson Co. Schools.  She worked for Piedmont Retirement Center in the Dietary Dept. She was a member of North Lexington Baptist church where she was a G.A. Leader. Amy is loved by many and has lived a life of adventures.  She loved Pikeville, KY. and her favorite singer was Loretta Lynn.

She was proceeded in death by her parents Terry and Edna Cecil.

Those left to cherish her memory are a brother, Terry Cecil (Allison) of the United Kingdom, a niece Mavis Cecil and friends Sherry Brannon and Diana Brafford of Lexington.  

A memorial service will be at North Lexington Baptist Church on Sunday, November 21 from 2-3pm.
