Alma Maxine (Simmerson) Lacourse

Alma Maxine Lacourse, age 86 of Lexington passed away on June 19, 2021 at Universal Healthcare of Fuquay-Varina.

Mrs. Lacourse was born in Rowan County, North Carolina on November 25, 1934, to Robert Simmerson and Bertha Owens Simmerson-Barnes. She was a health care aide.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Sam and Lee Simmerson,  two sons, Carlton Lee Craven and Brian Craven and two daughters, Pamela Joyce Craven and Mary Ellen Craven.

Left to cherish her memory is her special friend, Lee Freedle, a daughter, Rhonda Craven a sister Reba Craven, nieces, Sheila Hedrick, Karen Craven, Libby Ayers, nephews, Cletus Craven , Robert Craven and numerous others.

A Celebration of Life Memorial service will be Friday, June 25, 2021, at 2:00pm at Davie Burial & Cremations Chapel.

Family ask that memorials  be made to The Work Shop of Davidson Co. or Mt. Vista Health Park of Denton, N.C.
