Alice Jerlene Milam Hodge age 75 of Lexington, N.C. passed away July 24, 2022 at her home.
Mrs. Hodge was born April 19, 1947 in Davidson County to Homer Lee Milam, Sr. and Alice Cricelda Mourglea.
Mrs. Hodge attended Davidson County Schools. She was not employed. She was a member of Charity Baptist Church, as well as the V.F.W. of Lexington. She dearly loved her grandchildren and enjoyed reading James Patterson Novels.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, three brothers: Dexter “Buck” Milam, Johnny Earl Milam and David Wayne Milam.
Mrs. Hodge leaves behind her husband, Harvey Hodge Jr., one daughter Jerlene Renee Queen (Tony) of Lexington, one son Steven Yarbrough (Angie) of Lexington, one brother Homer Lee Milam, Jr. (Nancy) of Kannapolis, two sisters Sharon “Tiny” Dautridge (Mo) of Gastonia, Alicia “Lisa” Lail (Tim) of Forest city. She also leaves behind her beloved grand children: Kassie Ramsey (Thomas), Michael Trey Yarbrough, Haylee & Johnny & Baby Ramsey, Corbin Michael and Oakley Mae Yarbrough.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 from 1:00-3:00pm at Forest Hill Memorial Park and a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 3:00pm with Pastor Doug McGhee officiating.
