William Richard Francis, 74, of Lexington, passed away on August 25, 2019 while under the care of the Hinkle Hospice House. William was born May 4, 1945 in West Virginia, a son to the late Bert Edward Francis and Ida Mary Headly Francis. He was preceded in death by both of his parents, as well as five brothers and three sisters.
In life, William served in the US Navy from 1962 – 1965. Later, William worked as a dealer at Harrah’s casino. He married his wife Donna Jean Rae Francis in 2013. He is survived by his loving wife as well as his sisters Barbara Stumph of Louisiana, Dorothy Schaffer of West Virginia, Bonnie Dehah (Russell) of Indiana, Cindy Mede of Indiana and Sandy Lovett of Indiana.
