Ramona Michelle (Potts) Edwards

Ramona Michelle Potts Edwards, 58, of Liberty passed away, Sunday, January 28, 2018. A native of Massachusetts, she was born November 28, 1959 to the late James Donald Potts and Jo York Scarborough.

Mrs. Edwards graduated from Eastern Randolph High School and was a homemaker for her family.

Those left to cherish her memory include three sons, Ricky Strait of Knoxville, TN., Charlie Edwards of Liberty and Joshua Edwards of New York; two daughters, Stacy Bassinger of Liberty and Amy Johnson (Scott) of Pleasant Garden; four brothers, Wesley Potts of Fayetteville, Darryl Potts and Don Potts (Kathy) both of Burlington and Dennis Potts (Dawn) of Liberty; four sisters, Ginny Wyatt of Linwood, Hope Scarborough, Amanda Scarborough, and Candy Scarborough all of Knoxville, TN; and five grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Thursday, February 8 from 12:00-1:00PM at the chapel of Davie Burial & Cremation Service of Lexington. A Graveside Celebration of Life service will follow at 2:00PM in the cemetery of Shady Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Sink officiating.
