Peggy Lee Surratt, 61, passed away Saturday, July 29, 2017, at her residence. She was a native of Davidson County, born February 15, 1956, and the daughter of the late Coy B. Crabb and Bertha Everhart Crabb.

Mrs. Surratt attended Davidson County Schools. She was a homemaker and was self- employed in childcare. She attended Clear Springs United Methodist Church.

Surviving is two sons: Jamie Everhart of Welcome and Johnny Crabb of Ohio. In addition to her parents she is preceded by two brothers: Scott and Jimmy; two sisters: Ann and Penny; one son: Scott; and an infant daughter.

The family will receive friends at Clear Springs UMC (4321 South Main St. Ext., Denton) at 1:00 PM Saturday, August 5, 2017. The Celebration of Life Service will follow at 2:00 PM with Pastor Scott Davis officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
