Mindi Sue Scott, 43, of Lexington, passed away Sunday, August 27, 2017, at Brian Center of Lexington. A native of Los Angeles, California, she was born December 25, 1973, to the late Jerry Lee Scott and Mary Sue Moye Rankin.

Mrs. Scott graduated from Lexington Senior High School and worked for Hill Top Nursing Care as a health care director. She was a member of Lexington Community Church.

She is survived by one son, Nathan David Oneal Jefferson of Lexington; one brother, Jerry Lee Scott, Jr. of Southmont and three sisters: Erika Hutchin and Brittany Andrada of Lexington and Melinda Scott of Linwood.

The family will receive friends Saturday, September 2, 2017 from 4:00-5:00 PM in the chapel of Davie Burial & Cremation Service of Lexington. The Celebration of Life Service will follow at 5:00 PM in the chapel with Preacher Clyde Akers officiating.
