Karissa (Frank) Cole, 54, of Clemmons, passed away at Forsyth Medical Center Thursday, April 12, 2018. A native of Welch County, WV, she was born June 28, 1963, the daughter of the late Johnny Theodore Frank and Janice Marie Marcum Frank. Karissa attended public schools in West Virginia and became a homemaker for her family. She attended Currytown Baptist Church and enjoyed visiting with her daughters, grandkids and friends.
Surviving are two daughters, Kristy Lynn Harmon of Clemmons and Kalah Renea Cole Meadows of Thomasville; one brother, Steve Frank of High Point; one sister, Tess Austin of Charleston, WV; nine grandchildren: Jordan Nichols, Aleecia, Troy and Shane Meadows, Brianna and Charity Harmon, Issea and Noah Shaw, and Olivia Dallas; plus four great grandchildren, one niece, one nephew, one great nephew and four great nieces.
The Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be conducted at 1:00 PM Thursday, April 19, at Freedom Baptist Church in Lexington with Preacher Clyde Akers officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
