Johnny Jayne Holloway, 64, passed away Thursday, July 27, 2017, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Born July 10, 1953, in Rowan County, he was the son of the late Ralph Holloway and Minnie Myers Holloway. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Mike and a sister, Leatha.

 

Mr. Holloway attended Rowan County Schools. He was an Army Veteran and a diesel mechanic.  He attended Community Baptist Church in Cooleemee.

 

He is survived by his son, John Banner Holloway of Lexington; a daughter, Jodie Holloway Logan of Mocksville; a brother, Jack Holloway (Nancy) of Salisbury; a sister, Judy Wagner of Mocksville; grandchildren: Kane Holloway, Hannah Holloway, Katie Kimmer and Dillon Logan; one great granddaughter; step-children: Donnie Stewart, David Stewart and Connie Criscoe.

 

A graveside service with military honors will be held at 9:00 AM Thursday, August 3, at Salisbury National Cemetery, 501 Statesville Blvd., Salisbury, NC.
