Joel Frank Wrenn, 67, passed away late Monday evening at 10:30 p.m. at Hospice House of Davidson County. He is a native of Davidson County, born on July 8, 1951, to Frank Wrenn and Ellen Smith Wrenn. He is preceded in death by his father.
He graduated from Thomas A. Edison High School in Fairfax County, Virginia. In late June of 2018 he accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior and began his life trusting God in his Baptist faith.
Those left to cherish his memories are, a brother, Roger L. Wrenn of Fredericksburg, Virginia, and two sisters, Carolyn Wallace of Denton, and LouEllen Bean of Cranford, West Virginia.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to nurses and staff at Lexington Healthcare and Accordance Health. A special thanks to Hinkle House of Davidson County.
There will be a gathering of family and friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. on Monday July 30, 2018 in the chapel of Davie Burial and Cremation Service of Lexington. A Celebration of Life Service will follow immediately after by the Pastor Frankie Matthews of Sheets Memorial Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hinkle Hospice House and Faith Promise @ Sheets Memorial Baptist Church.
