James R. “Jim” Curry, 59, died in Davidson County, Wednesday, August 16, 2017. He was born in Iosco Co., Michigan, July 14, 1958, the son of the late Thorald J. Curry and Nora Lackey Curry. He graduated from North Davidson High School and Davidson County Community College with an associates degree. Mr. Curry was a supervisor at Valen Drawer.

Remaining to cherish his memory are one son, Christopher J. Curry (Maranda) of Alaska; one daughter: Kimberly Curry of Concord; two brothers: Chuck Curry of Lexington and Paul Curry (Kathryn) of Greensboro; and one sister: Jan Beck (David) of Lexington.

The Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 4:00 PM, Wednesday, August 23, at Davie Burial & Cremation Service Chapel with the Rev. Tim Sink officiating. The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to the service.
