Ernest John Phillips

Ernest John Phillips, 67, of Lexington died on July 3, 2019 in the comforts of his home with loved ones by his side. A native of Camden County, New Jersey, a son born on July 12, 1951 to the late Benjamin Franklin Phillips and Grace Mae Carter Phillips. Along with his parents previously listed he is preceded in death by a brother, Benjamin Phillips, a son, Ernest J. Phillips Jr., and a grandson, Timothy Sheetz.

As a small child Mr. Phillips attended school in New Jersey school district. He worked at Tec Data as a general laborer for more than seven years. His most favorite times were with his family.

Those left to cherish his memory are two daughters, April Owens (Bobby) of Lexington, Cindy Phillips of Spring Lake; three brothers, Joseph Phillips of New Jersey, Robert Phillips of Lexington, Louis Phillips of Miami, FL; four sisters, Virginia Williams, Patty Saint John both of New Jersey, Sherry Phillips of Florida, Anna May Barnes of Lexington; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
