Edward Alfred Sechrist

Edward Alfred Sechrist, 65, passed away Monday morning, July 2, 2018, at the comfort of his own home with loved ones by his side. He was a native of Lackawanna County PA., born on June 21, 1953, he is the son of the late Harold and Carrie Sechrist. He was preceded in death by a son Edward Sechrist Jr., and two brothers Harold Sechrist and Kenneth Sechrist.

He was a graduate of Friendshipville High School, Class of 1965. He was employed for 13 years as a Diesel Mechanic at Clouse Trucking Co. in Maryland. 

Left to cherish his memories are Debra Sechrist, wife of 20 years; three daughters, Bobbi Jo Sechrist, Amanda Krause (Brian)  and Christina Sechrist all of Florida; and four step children; Christopher, Kristina, James, and Justin. Twelve grandchildren, numerous brothers and sisters, and countless nieces and nephews. 

There will be a gathering of family and friends on Saturday, July 7, 2018, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM and a Celebration of Life service at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Davie Burial and Cremation in Lexington, by Pator Bill Stitley.
