David Wayne Milam, 58, of Germany, left this life to be with Jesus Christ on March 6, 2018, after fighting with cancer. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, March 18, at Charity Baptist Church (1912 N. NC Hwy.150) with Pastor Brady Lowery officiating.
Born March 12, 1959, in Valdese, NC, he was the son of the late Homer Lee Milam, Sr. and Alice Milam. Also preceding him in death were two brothers, Johnny Earl and Buck Milam. David served honorably in the United States Army.
Survivors include his wife, Hannah, one daughter, Melissa, four grandchildren and one great grandchild, all of Germany. He is also survived by three sisters: Jerlene Hodge (Harvey) of Lexington, Sharon Daughtridge (Maurice) of Gastonia and Alicia Church of Forest City, NC, and one brother, Homer Lee Milam, Jr. (Nancy) of Kannapolis, NC.
At other times, friends may contact his sister, Jerlene Hodge, on Hunt Road in Lexington.
