Darrell Thomas “Tommy” Crotts, 71, of Lexington, passed away at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, Tuesday, November 14, 2017. A native of Davidson County, he was born July 22, 1946, the son of the late John Franklin Crotts and Edna Deats Brown.
Mr. Crotts graduated from Central Davidson High School and was a press operator for CEP Solutions of Lexington for 25 years. He attended Grace Alliance Church in Lexington.
Remaining to cherish his memory is his wife of 31 years, Shelby Jean Everhart Crotts; two sons, Michael Green (Molly) and Ash Green (Jennifer) both of Lexington; two daughters, Andrea Buckley (Dave) of St. Peter, MO and Rebecca Link (Rob) of Concord; one brother, Rodney Crotts (Teresa) of Georgia; and three grandchildren, Hannah, Sarah and Corbin Green.
The family will receive friends Friday, November 17 from 12:00-1:00 PM at Davie Burial & Cremation Chapel. The Celebration of Life Service will follow at 1:00 PM in the funeral chapel with Pastor Tim Sink officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Davidson County.
