Catherine Virginia Walser Tucker, 68, of Clemmons died early Saturday morning December 14, 2019 at home. A native of Davidson County, she was born on March 23, 1951, a daughter to the late couple Zeb Ronnie Walser and Mary Virginia Hailey Walser. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by three brothers, Paul Walser, Johnny Walser, and Robert Walser; three sisters, Betty Thomason, Sarah Conner, and Alice Tilley.
Catherine was a graduate of North Davidson High School. She retired from Mrs. Haynes Moravian Cookie where she worked as a packer in the food industry for more than twenty-one years. She was a member of Maple Grove Church of the Brethren in Welcome.
She leaves behind a husband of forty-five years, Andy Tucker; a son, Jeffrey Tucker (Amy) of Clemmons; a brother; Bill Walser (Nancy) of Clemmons; four sisters, Joyce Hanes, Joann Everhart (Gary), both of Lexington, Linda Hedrick (Jim), and Mary Blackburn (Grady) both Clemmons;
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday December 18, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Maple Grove Church of the Brethren. Rev. Grady Blackburn will be officiating. The family will accept friends and family one hour prior. Interment will follow the service at Maple Grove Church of the Brethren Cemetery.
