Belinda Virginia Zimmerman, 43, passed away Saturday, July 29, 2017 at Lexington Medical Center. She was a native of Newport News, Virginia, born October 25, 1973, and the daughter of the late Micky Walker and Barbara Zimmerman Strange.

Belinda attended Freedom Baptist Church and had previously worked as a retail clerk at an auto parts store.

Surviving is one son: Antonio Gonzalez of Concord; two daughters: Ethel Zimmerman of Lexington and Shyanne Gonzalez of Kernersville; one sister: Nancy Acosta of Lexington. In addition to her parents she is preceded by an infant daughter; a granddaughter; maternal grandmother: Joyce Morgan; and a special friend: Julio Valdez.

The Celebration of Life service will be held Sunday, August 6 at 3:00PM at Davie Burial and Cremation Service of Lexington Chapel with Pastor Clyde Akers officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior the service in the Chapel. In lieu of flowers the family ask that memorials be sent to Davie Burial and Cremation Service of Lexington (1403 S. Main St., Lexington) to help offset final expenses.
