Annie Newcomb

Annie Laura Newcomb, 89, died on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at Lexington Healthcare.  A native of Granville County, North Carolina, a daughter born on January 21, 1930 to the late Clemmie Decauta Moses and Ella Mavis Moses Barringer. Also preceding her in death other than her parents are loving husband, Andrew Lewis Newcomb, a son, Andrew Jackson Newcomb, a daughter, Linda Gail Phillips, five brothers, and five sisters.

Annie was enrolled in the Granville County School District. Annie worked in quality control for more than five years. She retired from Quality Embroidery.

Those left to cherish her memory; a loving son-in-law, Lennie Rogers Phillips of Stuart, VA; a daughter, Deborah Newcomb; a sister, Eunice Cook of Butner; four grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.

Friends and loved ones are invited to attend A Celebration of Life Memorial Service held on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Davie Burial & Cremation in Lexington.
