Alice Faye Torralba, 77, passed away Monday morning, July 2, 2018, at the comfort of her own home with her family by her side. She was a native of Davidson County, born February 25, 1941, the daughter of the late John & Virginia Hill. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Paul and James Hill, and a sister, Hilda Austin.
She was a graduate of Lexington Senior High School. She retired from Lexington Furniture Industry as a machine operator where she was employed for over 25 years.
Those left to cherish her memory are two sons Charles Carroll (Annette), and Ellis Torralba Jr., both of Lexington. A stepson Chad Torralba (Carl) of Salisbury; one daughter Donna Campbell (Dan) of Lexington; four sisters, Dorothy Hernandez, and Brenda Hill both of Lexington, Minnie Sneed of Greenville SC, and Betty Hill of Oxford NC; and five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. A special friend Orla Kelly Rajan. A special dog Lace.
There will be a gathering of family and friends on July 5, 2018, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM, at High Rock Community Church, with a funeral service to follow in the sanctuary, by the Rev.Mike Hillard. Internment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Lexington.
