Viola Betty Hauser Farmer, 79, of Winston-Salem passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2018, at Hinkle Hospice House. A native of Forsyth County, she was born April 9, 1938, to the late Rufus Hauser and Victoria Lambeth Hauser.
Mrs. Farmer graduated from Thomasville High School class of 1957 and retired after 44 years of employment from Hanes Hosiery.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 45 years, Belmont Farmer; one son, Ronnie Bryce Freedle of Lexington; two daughters, Carolyn Farmer of Winston-Salem and Teresa Green of Lexington; one sister, Ruby Wooten of Winston-Salem; three grandchildren, Jaine Smith, Shaine Smith and Terry James Green and two great grandchildren, Addilynn Viola Thelma Green and Maxton Alexander Green.
The Celebration of Life service will be held Wednesday, March 14, 2018, at 7:30 PM at Davie Burial & Cremation Chapel with the Rev. Ryan Mendenhall officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the start of the service.
