Melody Poole Obituary

Melody Delane Bullins Poole, 48, of Denton, died Thursday, April 19, 2018, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. The daughter of the late Dorothy Jane Hill Ratcliff and the late Thomas Banner Bullins, she was born in Rowan County on October 28, 1969. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Cortney Cornelison, and a step-sister, Doris Cole.

She is survived by her husband, Brent Poole, of the home; one son, Joseph T. Bowen of Mississippi; one daughter, Candi Porter of Missouri; three step-daughters: Chelsey Koster of California, Catilyn Horne of Virginia, and Chynnia Poole of Denton; one sister, Vicky Torrence (Buddy) of Lexington; four step-sisters: Patsy Bullins, Donna Hunt, Shirley Macdowell and Darlene Hunt, all of Thomasville; and one step-brother, Darrell Bullins of Thomasville.

Melody attended Central Davidson High School. She was a Medical Technician/CNA and was employed with Brookstone Retirement Home.

The family will have a memorial service at a later date.
