Jo Alilee York Scarbrough, 80, passed away Saturday, August 26, 2017, at Hinkle Hospice House. She was a native of Davidson County and resided in the Linwood community. Born October 2, 1936, she was the daughter of the late John and Mayme Buhl York.

She is survived by four sons: Kenneth Potts of Fayetteville, Darryl and Donald Potts (Kathy), both of Burlington and Dennis Potts (Dawn) of Liberty; five daughters: Ramona Edwards of Liberty, Hope, Amanda and Candy Scarbrough, all of Knoxville, TN, and Ginny Wyatt of Linwood; two brothers, Stanley and Ronald York, both of Clinton TN.  Her memory will also be cherished by eighteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Daisy and Tina, one brother, Monty, and two grandchildren.

The Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be conducted at 3:30 PM Tuesday, August 29, at Clontz Family Cemetery.
