Jerrod Michael Carter, 32, passed away at High Point Regional Hospital, Monday, October 30, 2017. A native of West Virginia, he was born July 6, 1985, the son of the late Arnold Lee Robertson and Wanda Sue Carter. He attended Lexington Senior High School and was employed by Shelby D. Johnson Trucking Company.

Remaining to cherish his memory is his fiancé, Ashley Hailey; three daughters, Emma Jean Carter and Presley Carter of Thomasville and Lesleigh Swanson of Lexington; one brother, Garland Carter of Lexington; one sister, Amanda Long (Jason) of Lexington; one nephew, Isaiah Long; and one niece, Octavia Haithcox.

The family will receive friends Saturday, November 4, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Davie Burial & Cremation Service of Lexington.  The Celebration of Life Service will be held Sunday, November 5, at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Davie Burial & Cremation Service of Lexington with Preacher Clyde Akers officiating
