Janet and I attended East Davidson High School together and she was so much fun. She was a kind and caring classmate and I so enjoyed being in classes with her and also on the basketball team. She was a delightful person and everyone loved being around her.

Janet always seem to have a smile on her face - she loved the Lord and most assuredly her family. As a young girl, I always enjoyed the Saturday trips to her house for her to "fix' my Mom's hair. They would talk as old friends each week updating one another on their families, their gardens, their grandchildren, etc. The memories of them together will forever be in my heart. I am sure you each have lots of great memories to rely upon; please use these as the gentle reminders of good county living and how blessed we all were to have been in her presence. She had a way to make one smile and when you left her home, you always look forward to the next time. Our prayers and thoughts are with the family during this most difficult time.

Tony and Leanne, I am heartbroken to hear that Janet is gone. She was a guardian angel to my mother at the Brian Center. She was a special, special person. I will never forget her kindness.
