Gloria “Jean” Smith Huffman, 74, of Lexington passed away Sunday, November 5, 2017, at her residence. A native of Harnett County, she was born December 12, 1942, to the late William T. Smith and Sudie Clyde Matthews.

Mrs. Huffman graduated from Central Davidson High School class of 1961 and was retired from PPG with 22 years of employment. She was a member of Pilgrim Freewill Baptist Church.

Those left to cherish her memory is her husband of 54 years, Kenneth Leroy Huffman; one son, Jeffery Scott Huffman of Lexington; three grandchildren, Jeffrey Huffman, Joshua Huffman and Breanna Huffman and seven great grandchildren, Lucas, Gunner, Rhylan and Ryder Huffman, Aedan Stevens, John and Malaine Caplan. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one son, Kenny Huffman; one brother, Billy Wilkerson and one sister, Virginia Riley.

The family will receive friends Thursday, November 9 from 6:00-7:30 PM at Pilgrim Freewill Baptist Church (13 Arbor Dr., Lexington). A Celebration of Life will follow at 7:30 PM with Pastor James Messer, Jr. officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to be sent to Pilgrim Freewill Baptist Church in honor of Mrs. Huffman.
