David Eugene Darnell, Jr

David Eugene Darnell, Jr., 35, died Friday, January 19, 2018. He was born December 3, 1982, the son of David Eugene Darnell, Sr. and Glenda Ann Grubb Darnell.

David attended West Davidson High School and attended Freedom Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his daughter, Alessa Darnell of Asheville; three brothers: Richard Hyatt, Jr., Derrick Darnell and wife, Brittany, and Travis Darnell, all of Lexington; and his step-mother, Melissa Darnell of Lexington.

The family will receive friends Friday, January 26, 2018 from 6:30-8:30 PM at the chapel of Davie Burial & Cremation of Lexington. A Celebration of Life service will be held at Freedom Baptist Church Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 12:00 PM with the Rev. Clyde Akers officiating. Interment will follow in the Lexington City Cemetery.
