Chris Dan Worley, 62, passed away Friday, November 24, 2017, at Hinkle Hospice House. A native of Davidson County, he was born August 4, 1955, the son of the late Junior Sol Worley and Leatha Justine Everhart Worley.  He was also preceded in death by a brother, Craig Worley, and a grandson, Dawson T. Jones.

He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Darlayn Kay Disser Worley, of the home; three daughters: Erica K. Worley Jarvis (Brian) of Pilot Mountain, Carolyn Crossgrove of Nebraska, and Jill Steenberg (Jesse) of Rosemount, MN; one brother, Roger Worley (Linda), and one sister, Brenda Wooten (Billy), both of Lexington; and six grandchildren: Camden, Avery and Andrew Jones, Brian Jarvis, Jr., Ariahna and Adelynn Steenberg.

Chris was a graduate of Lexington Senior High School. He was a former programmer and was also a state champion chess player. He was a member of The Arbor Lutheran Church of Lexington.
